Photos and Videos by the Organizers
During the conference, the event team will take photos and videos for reporting purposes.
When registering, you decided whether you wanted to appear in these recordings. You can reconsider this consent at check-in. You will receive a colored lanyard:
- Blue lanyard: You consent to the organizer photographing or filming you within the agreed usage scope and using the images.
- Red lanyard: You do not wish to be photographed on behalf of the organizer.
Photos and Videos Among Participants
Please note that different rules apply to photos and videos you take yourself:
Only photograph or film other participants if all identifiable individuals have given their explicit consent beforehand.
This also applies to group photos. If even one person does not agree, the photo or video may not be taken.
Never publish photos or videos without the explicit consent of all identifiable individuals.
This applies in particular to posts on social networks, messenger groups, or websites.
Please respect every individual’s right to decide whether and in what context photos or videos of them may be taken and published.
By being considerate, you help ensure that the conference remains a safe and trusting space for everyone. Thank you!
Consent to the Processing of Photo and Video Recordings
I consent to the processing of photographs and video recordings taken of me during the event Positive Encounters – Conference on Living with HIV, from August 13–16, 2026, in Magdeburg, by Deutsche Aidshilfe e.V. The purpose of processing is editorial reporting in print and online publications, including social networks. I am aware that photos and videos on the internet can be accessed by any person. I have read the data protection information. I grant Deutsche Aidshilfe unrestricted rights in time and space to use, edit, distribute, and reproduce the recordings. Furthermore, I consent to Deutsche Aidshilfe e.V. contacting me in case of further use of the images I appear in to obtain my agreement. This consent is given voluntarily. I am aware that I can revoke it at any time with effect for the future. Upon receipt of the revocation, my personal data may no longer be processed and must be deleted immediately.
