- Automatic translation during the conference
Some program items are marked with the label "Live Voice".
For multilingual translation during the conference, we use the AI-powered translation tool from Live Voice, a provider based in Austria. The service technically relies on the translation function of DeepL for this purpose. The processing of the required data takes place on AWS servers located in Europe.
Purpose of processing: Provision of the program with live translation in multiple languages.
Legal Basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in providing low-barrier, multilingual information to our international audience).
Recipient: Live Voice (Austria) as a processor accessing the DeepL API to deliver the translation service; data processing occurs on AWS servers in Europe.
Third-Country Transfer: Since processing takes place exclusively within the EU/European Economic Area (provider based in Austria, server location AWS Europe), no data is transferred to a third country.
Storage Duration: Live Voice/DeepL stores the data only for the duration of the translation.
