Diversity in Aging – Intersectional Insights from the 9th Federal Government Report on Aging
This presentation highlights key findings from the 9th Ageing Report of the German Federal Government from an intersectional perspective. It focuses on the realities of life for older LGBTI individuals, the interplay of different forms of discrimination, and the impact of ageism on social participation, health, and care in later life. The talk will also address structural inequalities and the need for action to promote diverse and discrimination-sensitive aging.
