Panel Discussion: Challenges in Caring for Older People with HIV
People with HIV are aging – and their needs are becoming more diverse. The panel discussion opens the thematic area for the subsequent workshops and examines the medical, nursing, psychosocial, and social care of older people with HIV. The focus is on access barriers and discrimination, structural challenges, and the question of what impulses current reforms in the healthcare and nursing systems can provide for needs-based and discrimination-free care.
